Drink manufacturers should define Brix, mineral profile, sensory target, authenticity testing, microbiological limits, processing route and packaging. MCT emulsions require suitable emulsifiers and homogenisation to maintain physical stability.
Claims and labelling
Electrolyte, hydration, natural, organic and nutrition claims must be substantiated for the finished drink and reviewed for each target market. Ingredient characteristics alone do not automatically justify a consumer claim.
