1. Controller and scope
This Cookie Policy explains the use of cookies and similar technologies on The Coconut Supplier. The controller is Conviccion Financiera S.L., Spanish tax ID B23944630, registered address at Calle Buenos Aires, 56, 3º C, 30500 Molina de Segura (Murcia), España. For any clarification about cookies, privacy, use of data or rectification, write to legal@thecoconutsupplier.com.
2. Cookies and similar technologies
These are files, identifiers or mechanisms that store or retrieve information from a user’s device. For this policy, the term also includes equivalent technologies used to remember preferences, measure audiences, integrate third-party content or measure advertising campaigns.
3. Consent manager
The website includes its own consent manager. Before non-essential technologies are used, visitors can accept all, reject or configure by purpose. Analytics, Marketing and External content are not pre-selected. Choices can be changed at any time through the permanent “Cookies” button.
The choice is stored in the necessary first-party cookie cb2b_consent for a maximum of 24 months, so the same choice is not requested on every visit unless this policy or the technology configuration changes materially.
4. Categories
4.1. Necessary
These support core functionality, security, WordPress administration and remembering privacy choices. They are not used for behavioural advertising.
| Cookie / family | Provider | Purpose | Indicative duration |
|---|---|---|---|
cb2b_consent |
The Coconut Supplier | Store consent choices by purpose. | Up to 24 months |
wordpress_test_cookie |
WordPress | Check whether the browser supports cookies. | Session |
wordpress_logged_in_* / wordpress_sec_* |
WordPress | Authentication and security for logged-in users. | Session or configured login duration |
wp-settings-* / wp-settings-time-* |
WordPress | Interface preferences for authenticated users. | Up to 1 year |
4.2. Analytics — Google Analytics 4
Enabled only when Analytics is accepted. It is used to obtain aggregated statistics about sessions, devices and website navigation. The integration uses Google Consent Mode v2 and keeps analytics storage denied until consent is given.
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Default duration |
|---|---|---|---|
_ga |
Google Analytics | Distinguish users. | 2 years |
_ga_* |
Google Analytics | Persist session state. | 2 years |
4.3. Marketing — Meta Pixel and advertising technologies
Enabled only with Marketing consent. Meta Pixel may be used for campaign measurement, conversions and advertising audiences. When scripts are loaded through standard WordPress APIs, the manager also blocks known advertising scripts from Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, X and Google Ads until this purpose is allowed.
| Cookie / family | Provider | Purpose | Indicative duration |
|---|---|---|---|
_fbp / _fbc |
Meta | Browser identification, advertising measurement and attribution. | Up to 90 days according to Meta |
| Other advertising cookies | LinkedIn, TikTok, X or Google Ads, if enabled | Measurement, conversions, attribution and/or audiences. | According to provider and current configuration |
4.4. External content — YouTube and social media
YouTube videos and embedded posts from Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, TikTok, Vimeo or other services remain blocked until “External content” is accepted. When enabled, the third party may receive the IP address, browser/device data, page URL and other identifiers, and may use its own cookies under its settings and policies.
Where possible, YouTube videos should use privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com), without changing the fact that playing a video is still an interaction with a Google service.
5. Accepting, rejecting or changing choices
The first layer provides clearly visible controls to accept all, reject and configure. Rejecting leaves only necessary technologies active. Visitors can reopen the settings through the permanent “Cookies” button and withdraw or change consent as easily as it was given.
6. Withdrawal and deletion
When previously accepted categories are withdrawn, the manager updates consent signals, attempts to remove known first-party analytics/marketing cookies and reloads the page to stop further loading. Some third-party cookies may also need to be removed through browser controls or the third party’s own controls.
7. Social links
Ordinary links to social profiles do not by themselves set those platforms’ cookies from this website. When following a link, the visitor leaves this website and the third party’s terms and policies apply.
8. Changes
The effective list may change when services are added or updated. This policy and the consent version will be updated when relevant changes occur.
9. Contact
For any clarification about cookies, use of data, privacy, access or rectification, contact legal@thecoconutsupplier.com. Please also see the Privacy Policy.
