Coconut oil is a familiar ingredient in soaps, balms, body care and hair products. Virgin oil provides a recognisable natural story and coconut aroma, while refined grades offer a more neutral sensory profile. MCT oil can act as a light emollient and carrier in skin-care and hair-care formulations.
Cosmetic-grade approval
The customer should define INCI requirements, refining status, sensory profile, oxidation limits, microbiology, contaminants, organic certification and packaging. Cosmetic compliance and safety assessment must be based on the final ingredient documentation and finished formulation.
Supply formats
Depending on the grade, supply can range from pails and drums to IBC arrangements. Temperature management may be needed because coconut oil solidifies in normal European ambient conditions during part of the year.
