We have a dedicated QC team that checks coconuts from arrival from the plantation to packing into a container to guarantee the stable quality as per specification.
7 Steps Quality Check
We constantly check our coconuts on 7 steps (size, weight, color) plus procedures including the removal of diseased or deformed fruits, sorting, grading, and cleaning to ensure the absence of insects, mites, rotten fruits, branches, leaves, roots and soil.
Defect Tolerance according to the International Standard
Proactively state that products are free from common defects such as cracks, mold (including specific types if known, e.g., Colletotrichum ), pests, sprouting, significant blemishes, wet/moldy eyes, and internal browning. Mentioning compliance with specific tolerances (e.g., ASEAN Stan 56:2018 allows 5% defects for Extra Class, 10% for Class I).
Independent surveyor
In addition to our in-house QC team, we (by request) are using an independent laboratory surveyor from Carsurin, Backjorindo, or SGS to ensure the quality of our husked coconuts. We can do vanning and pre-shipment inspection of goods by a third party.
